Steve Rude owns this original, and it was printed in ILLUSTRATION #12…
…but until I found this 1945 Good Housekeeping magazine in June 2013, Steve had never seen where it was printed!

NOTE: The woman’s dress was so see-through that it looked like she had no legs or feet, so when they printed it in the magazine they cropped off the bottom portion of Harry’s painting!

For a long time all I had was this small b&w image…
…then I found the magazine it was in!

Steve Rude has owned this original since the mid-1980s, but he had never seen the magazine it was printed in until I found it in April 2013 and showed it to him!
Steve said he got it “cheap” because the editors had glued that blue paper strip onto the art, and Steve had it professionally removed and restored…
